The Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners Expanded the Anesthesia and Sedation Committee Membership to 11
Phoenix, Arizona - The Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners (“Board”) is pleased to announce that they have have expanded the size of the membership of the Anesthesia and Sedation Advisory Committee (“Committee”). As part of its broader mission, to serve the public by protecting the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Arizona by regulating and maintaining standards of practice in the field of dentistry, the Board established the Committee in August 2019. And, after an overwhelming response of impressive candidates, the Board elected to expand the Committee size from seven to 11 members on October 4, 2019. The Board will be accepting curriculum vitaes (“CV”) or résumés as they search for citizens who wish to serve in this vital, but volunteer capacity. The successful candidates will be experts in anesthesia and sedation and share a passion to affect changes in Arizona state laws and rules. On August 27, 2019, the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners will begin accepting applications for licensure by universal recognition. The universal recognition policy allows Arizona residents to use a current professional or occupational license from another U.S. jurisdiction to qualify for an Arizona license to work.
